WELCOME TO Moments Manor Orleans
At Moments Manor Orleans, we are the only community in the Ottawa region that is 100% devoted to the care of seniors with Alzheimer’s and other dementias. Our environment is uniquely designed as a safe and comfortable home, but our staff are expertly trained in the field of Memory Care. As a Symphony Senior Living Memory Care Community, Moments Manor Orleans is committed to sharing its residents’ journey of memory loss. Together, through the renowned Symphony Senior Living Moments® program, the Moments Manor Orleans team strives to help its residents – and the families who love them – make every “moment” matter.
Conveniently located just off the Queensway in Orleans, Moments Manor Orleans provides an atmosphere of calmness and serenity – while providing a setting very much like its residents’ own homes. The newly renovated building offers a variety of family-friendly amenity spaces where you can spend time with your loved one. Life skill activity stations located throughout the building are designed to invoke memories of past work, interests, and hobbies, and encourage a sense of purpose and peace for our residents. The attractive suites come in a variety of cozy studio layouts. Services include a safe and secure environment, individualized care and support, nutritious dining, and a specialized activity program designed to accommodate the unique needs of those with memory care challenges.
Message from Executive Director
Welcome to our wonderful home! In 2015 we completed an extensive renovation of our property – not an inch has been left untouched! From our beautifully restored chapel to the inviting resident and family living areas, the building looks wonderful!! But at Moments Manor, we are not about the beautiful building, we are here to provide exceptional Memory Care to our residents and to support the ones who love them. We are proud to be the only community in Ottawa that is 100% dedicated to serving those living with Alzheimers and other forms of dementia.
During your visit to Moments Manor, you will discover how our unique program is designed to sooth and engage residents at all levels of functioning and dementia. We are truly different in our approach and our team members are fully trained to embrace our residents’ unique needs. Our philosophy integrates family, friends and the broader community wherever we can, which brings life and living to our residents’ lives each and every day!
Our team is so proud of this amazing community! Please feel free to give us a call if you would like more information or, if you would like to come in, our dedicated and caring staff would be pleased to give you a tour whenever it is convenient for you and your family.

What Makes Moments Manor Orleans So Special?
"We are devoted to helping our mother through the challenges she faces with dementia… but when we can’t be there, knowing she is cared for by loving staff whose approach is to encourage not insist, comfort not ignore, and who always honor her dignity… gives our family peace of mind knowing she is happy and safe!"
Cheryl M, Resident Daughter
“Every time I walk through the doors of Moments Manor I feel like I'm home... The friendly faces of the many residents who are happy to say hello.. And the staff who I have come to know and love. I visit daily which gives me the opportunity to observe the care and how the staff deal with the many difficult situations that surround this disease. Their training and compassion is outstanding!
The true testimonial is in how my mom can walk the hallways smiling, teasing and sharing her hugs with the staff... That is the result of her level of comfort living in this place she trusts as her home now ;)
When I do leave and go back to my busy life I know that my Mom is well cared for and safe... That is peace of mind.”
Carol L, Daughter of Resident
“We have been tremendously impressed with the professionalism, care and compassion of the Moments Manor team towards the people in their care. They exemplify their philosophy of creating a cozy, respectful and comforting ‘home’ environment for those with dementia. In the words of our mother, who is one of the people they care for, 'this is a place where everyone is treated kindly, no matter what their ability'.”
